Kaitlin Nicholis, Financial Planning Assistant

Kaitlin is the newest member of our Finance team, joining the firm in September 2015. Kaitlin’s commitment to helping clients achieve their goals coupled with her strong detail-orientation, drive and passion make her a great addition to Element.

While she completes her journey to becoming a financial planner herself, Kaitlin tends to all the details necessary to prepare and implement Element clients’ financial plans. As a financial planning assistant, she supports our team through investment management, reporting and compiling comprehensive portfolio reviews. Kaitlin also prepares financial models and financial planning advice under the supervision of our senior advisors.

Kaitlin is extremely tech savvy and adept at tapping into the powerful software engines that support the financial planning process.

Prior to joining the Element Financial Group team, Kaitlin worked at the investment banking firm Sperry, Mitchell & Company.  She also spent five years working with a Managing Director of Janklow & Nesbit Associates literary agency.

Kaitlin received her undergraduate degree from New York University, graduating with honors in English and American Literature. She recently completed her Certification in Financial Planning from New York University’s School of Professional Studies, and successfully passed the CFP® Exam in November 2015.

Kaitlin and her husband, George, are originally from Ohio and now live in Astoria, Queens. They share a passion for arts and culture, and have a particular fondness for film.
